ABOUT
The BTU Steward Council generally meets
at the end of the first month of each
new school year. Steward Council
meetings normally rotate with Area
Steward meetings each month for the
remainder of the school year. Stewards
attend Council meetings in order to
receive the most up-to-date information
about critical union issues. When called
upon to do so, the Steward Council also
votes on important issues such as dues
increases. All stewards are strongly
encouraged to attend each Steward
Council and Area Steward meeting.
